Geonomer Lab Observatory - Fragment Survey
Location
- Geonomy Lab/Observatory
- Inspirations: Geonomy Lab - Observatory
- A large, almost hangar-size space. Has to be this huge because of its main feature, the Aetherlabe
- The Aetherlabe
- (or Aerolabe, Isolabe or Geolabe)
- A massive Astrolabe looking thing, held up in the air in the middle of the space
- Made of Metal (Copper?) and Wood.
- Constantly being updated, so the area is as much a lab, workshop as an observatory.
- Surrounded by a mezzanine so people can walk around it at eye level
- The Labe is sitting under a large domed glass ceiling, so the stars can be observed alongside it
- The rest of the space is mostly a lab, with desks, paper maps but also a workshop with materials and tools to make changes to the Aetherlabe
- And also watchmaker-like workstations to craft the "Pocket labes" that Pilots carry with them.
Characters
- Veteran Pilot (Protagonist)
- Geonomer
- Mayor
- Young Pilot
Events
- The Young pilot having returned from the initial survey of the Island Fragment, presents his observations and sketches to the rest of the group.
- The Protagonist and the Geonomer are quick to notice the similarities with the ruins on Trimont, which has fueled their curiosity during their childhood.
